Good vs. Evil: The Armor of God Introduction

(1st article in The Armor of God Series)

Dear Reader,

The Armor of God is a frequently quoted and widely admired passage of scripture found in Ephesians 6:10-18, but many aren’t sure what it’s used for.

In the articles to follow (look for them in the archive to the right), I will show you how to use the Armor of God and create a mental roadmap for your life.

The Christian life is a BATTLE and in that battle Satan attacks our mind.  In anticipation of those attacks, God designed the Armor of God as a way to protect our soul, that is, our MIND, WILL AND EMOTIONS.

Each piece of armor guards against a specific attack of the enemy.  When you understand what those attacks are, you can create a mental roadmap (or a routine), that will guide and protect you each day.

In order to make this FUN, I’ve created a backstory.  It’s called The Legend of the Knights of the Way.

As you read through the articles, why don’t you pretend to be a Knight in training?  In this process you’ll be attending THE ACADEMY.

By the time you’ve completed the training you’ll be a Knight of the Way.  Once you read the articles, let me know and I’ll send you a Certificate of Training.  You can reach me at greggfetter@gmail.com.

Happy Training!

God Bless,

Gregg

This looks like a great series. I like the idea of relating to a knight in training. This may help me to keep my childrens attention, too. Another aid that I have found useful for both male and female is the Armor of God found at ArmorCoin.com God Bless!
Thanks Morgan,

I'll be sure to check that site out. May the Lord bless your life.

Thanks for sharing this it is a very useful tool.
Hi Doreen,

Yes, rather than providing a check list of things to do each day, The Daily Action Plan gives you concepts to think about. These concepts keep you from subtly shifting away from God's perspective for your life.

God bless you Doreen.
