Regardless of your end time view, here are 4 Biblical reasons why you should prepare for the Great Tribulation.
Reason #1

Russia’s involvement in the American/Syrian conflict could cause it fulfill the Ezekiel 38 war.
Efraim Karsh, a senior research associate at the BESA Institute, a think tank in Jerusalem, says:
"Exercising influence in Syria is a way for Russia (Vladimir Putin: Russian President), which used to have strong footholds in Iraq and Egypt, to get back into the game," he said. "It wants to score points, TO SHOW IT’S IMPORTANT."
So Putin wants to feel important? But Putin seems to be playing BOTH sides.
A day after announcing his willingness to negotiate with Syria on America’s behalf, Putin arranged for Iran to receive a sophisticated S-300 anti-aircraft system. Will Putin eventually choose sides in the conflict? What are his intentions?
Again, Karsh says about Russia, "generally speaking" Putin does not seek a military confrontation in the region. Russia has good relations with Israel, BUT THAT CAN CHANGE.
“But that can change???” What could CHANGE Russia’s relationship with Israel?
How about Putin’s EGO. If he wants to get BACK IN THE GAME and “score points” with Iran which supports Syria, what could be better than to attack Israel? Has this IDEA ever crossed his mind? The Bible says it will.
This is what Ezekiel 38 says about a future leader of Russia (or Gog):
This is what the Sovereign Lord says: On that day thoughts will come into your mind and you will devise an evil scheme. You will say, “I will invade a land of unwalled villages; I will attack a peaceful and unsuspecting people—all of them living without walls and without gates and bars. I will plunder and loot and turn my hand against the resettled ruins and the people gathered from the nations, rich in livestock and goods, living at the center of the land.” Sheba and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish and all her villages will say to you, “Have you come to plunder? Have you gathered your hordes to loot, to carry off silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods and to seize much plunder?”’
“Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say to Gog: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: In that day, when my people Israel are living in safety, will you not take notice of it? You will come from your place in the far north, you and many nations with you, all of them riding on horses, a great horde, a mighty army. You will advance against my people Israel like a cloud that covers the land. In days to come, Gog, I will bring you against my land, so that the nations may know me when I am proved holy through you before their eyes.
“‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: You are the one I spoke of in former days by my servants the prophets of Israel. At that time they prophesied for years that I would bring you against them. This is what will happen in that day: When Gog attacks the land of Israel, my hot anger will be aroused, declares the Sovereign Lord. In my zeal and fiery wrath I declare that at that time there shall be a great earthquake in the land of Israel.
The fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the beasts of the field, every creature that moves along the ground, and all the people on the face of the earth will tremble at my presence. The mountains will be overturned, the cliffs will crumble and every wall will fall to the ground. I will summon a sword against Gog on all my mountains, declares the Sovereign Lord. Every man’s sword will be against his brother. I will execute judgment on him with plague and bloodshed; I will pour down torrents of rain, hailstones and burning sulfur on him and on his troops and on the many nations with him. And so I will show my greatness and my holiness, and I will make myself known in the sight of many nations. Then they will know that I am the Lord.’

Reason #2
Our economy is on the verge of collapsing. A world war would cause confusion and justify Martial Law. A New World Order will begin.
Syria has threatened a reprisal if America attacks it. Just like 9-11, all America needs is one small push to topple it’s economy. No doubt Al Qaeda has terrorist cells in America. Could we experience a series of “suitcase bombs” going off in various cities as reprisal?
Although America is completely in debt, it’s one saving grace is that it is the world’s “reserve currency”. When America needs to raise money it just sells bonds to cover it’s debt.
But what if the world decides not to use US dollars as its reserve currency any longer? Russia and China already are moving in this direction. If this happens, America’s economy will collapse because it will have no way to pay it’s debts.

When Americans realize that all their reserves, 401K’s etc., no longer have value, there will be an uprising against our government. Seeing this coming, Homeland Security has been preparing for Martial Law.

Reason #3
The Pope has been making preparations to move to Jerusalem.
Why does this matter?
When the Pope sets his throne upon Mount Zion, the Jewish and Christian worlds will recognize him as the Antichrist.
This has been long in the making.
On December 30, 1993 the Vatican and Israel came to a Fundamental Agreement about the Pope coming to Jerusalem (read that agreement by clicking here).
The 1993 agreement which was a fundamental understanding, still needed all the "i’s" and the "t’s" crossed. For 20 years the Vatican and Israel have negotiated. They have almost reached agreement.
In January 30, 2013 the Bilateral Vatican-Israel Commission agreed to give the Pope a SEAT in the room of the Last Supper. This seat is officially part of the temple mount and Mount Zion (read article by clicking here).
They will meet once again in Jerusalem, December 2013 finalizing the transaction (read the article by clicking here).

Pope Francis is planning a trip to Jerusalem in May of 2014.
Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I of Constantinople will also be in attendance. Pope Francis will no doubt use this opportunity to take his seat in the room of the Last Supper on Mount Zion.

Reason #4
There will be physical signs in the moon and stars.

Could ISON be Tied with FEMA Region 3 EMP Event Drill in November 2013?
Tying ISON in with “martial law” under Reason #2 above, we could imagine that our government could be using the Ison event to stage a FALSE EMP event, as this is what the government SAYS they are planning the FEMA Region 3 emergency drill for in November 13-13, 2013. We’ll have to wait and see.
Blood Moon Tetrads
In 2014 and 2015 the earth will experience Blood Moon Tetrads. These are extremely rare when they fall on the Lord’s Feast days. We saw these in 1949-1950 during the time Israel became a Nation. We saw them in 1967-68 when Israel reclaimed the city of Jerusalem. We are seeing them in 2014-15 as the Pope prepares to sit on Mount Zion.
