How To Prepare for the End Time



Any preparation you do has to be both mental and physical.
If you just prepare physically, you’re like the farmer who torn down his barns to make bigger ones thinking he was set for life.  He only thought in physical terms.  He wasn’t rich spiritually.
But God said to him, ‘You fool!  This very night your life will be demanded from you.  Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?’  “This is how it will be with anyone who stores up things for himself but is not rich toward God.”
Luke 12:20-21
Preparation isn’t just about you making it through the tribulation physically, it’s about finding your CALLING within it.  
Food and gear preparation just gets you beyond the economic confusion so you can focus on what God wants you to do.
In order to be effective you have to know where you stand concerning certain issues coming your way.
What are some of the things you need to be thinking about?
How Will You Handle Romans 13?
Is Romans 13 teaching that we must be COMPLICIT to all government authority?
Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.  Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.  For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong.  Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority?  Then do what is right and you will be commended.  For the one in authority is God’s servant for your good.  But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason.  They are God’s servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer.  Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also as a matter of conscience.
Romans 13:1-7
If Romans 13 is teaching that we must be complicit to all government authority, then we’re going to have to REPRIMAND the prophet Daniel.
That’s because Daniel was non compliant to the wishes of King Darius.  Darius had made a decree that no one should pray to anyone but him.  This is what Daniel did:
Now when Daniel learned that the decree had been published, he went home to his upstairs room where the windows opened toward Jerusalem.  Three times a day he got down on his knees and PRAYED, GIVING THANKS TO HIS GOD, just as he had done before.
Daniel 6:10
For this, Daniel was thrown into the lions den.
We’ll also have to reprimand Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, because when they were told to bow down and worship a 90 foot golden image King Nebuchadnezzar had set up— they disobeyed (Daniel 3:16-18).
For this, they were thrown into a fiery furnace.
And the list goes on.  From Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, and Samuel.  Each resisted evil.  Each followed the laws of God.
We Are Commanded To Follow a Higher Law Than the Law of the Land
What law are we supposed to follow?  Jesus tells us himself.
“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”  Jesus replied: “‘LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’  This is the first and greatest commandment.  And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’  All the law and the prophets hang on these two commandments.
Matthew 22:36-40
So when we consider Romans 13, we have to put it in perspective.  We have to understand that when the Apostle Paul says, “Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities”, he is talking about GOD’S authority, because God is the highest authority.
Why would we want to supersede God's authority with man's authority?
God Uses UnGodly Governments for His Purposes
While God allows governments to exist for a time that don’t follow His authority, they’re always here for a specific purpose.
For example, God put the Egyptian Pharaoh on earth so that when the time came God’s power could be displayed against him.
For Scripture says to Pharaoh: “I raised you up for this very purpose, that I might display my power in you and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.”
Romans 9:17
Notice that God’s name was proclaimed when He destroyed Pharaoh and his armies through his servant Moses.  Moses didn’t comply with evil.  He didn’t bow down to the government of Egypt.  Why?  Because Egypt resisted God’s law.
And so, we must be prepared to resist any tyrannical government that tries to replace God’s law with their law in our hearts.  This is critical when it comes to the emerging New World Order that I have been talking about in previous posts.

How To Resist Tyranny
If tyranny ever arises, what could you do to overcome it?  
Here are 3 Biblical things that you could do to overcome it.  I think it’s important that you begin to think about which one is right for you.

1.  Non-compliance.

You refuse to cooperate.  Just like Daniel did.  But there is a penalty.  You could be thrown into the lion’s den.  In Revelation it says that some will go to prison or be put to death.
Whoever has ears, let them hear.  “If anyone is to go into CAPTIVITY (prison), into captivity they will go.  If anyone is to be KILLED with the sword, with the sword they will be killed.”  This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of God’s people.
Revelation 13:10
But, God can do great miracles through your obedience just like he did for Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego.  But notice their heart:
If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to save us from it, and he will rescue us from your hand, O King.  BUT EVEN IF HE DOES NOT, we want you to know, O King, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.
Daniel 3:17-18
We obey, even if God chooses not to rescue us from our persecution.

 2.  Avoidance.
It is not shameful to run and hide, if that is what God has enabled you to do.  Christians in the past have done so.  The Apostle John tells us the first century church was persecuted and scattered:
On that day a great persecution broke out against the church at jerusalem, and all except the apostles were SCATTERED throughout Judea and Samaria.
Acts 8:1
The author of Hebrews tells us what happened to some of those who contended for the faith:
They wandered in DESERTS and MOUNTAINS, and in CAVES and HOLES in the ground.
Hebrews 11:38
In Revelation we see martyred Christians in heaven.  The Bible says that never again will they hunger, thirst, or be scorched by the sun, indicating that they had been hiding in the elements:
Never again will they HUNGER; never again will they THIRST.  The sun will not beat down upon them, nor any scorching HEAT.
Revelation 7:16
Also, Revelation tells us that the Jews will FLEE into the wilderness:
The woman (Israel) fled into the desert to a place prepared by God, where she might be taken care of for 1,260 days.
Revelation 12:6
Some Christians will make it to the end:
We who are STILL ALIVE will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.  And so we will be with the Lord forever.
1 Thessalonians 4:17
 3.  Revolt.
Some saints and Jews actually took up arms and revolted.  We see this with the Maccabean Revolt.
Antiochus Epiphanes, a Greek protagonist (and a type of the Antichrist) desolated the Jewish Temple.  This prompted what would later become known as the Maccabean Revolt.  The Maccabean Revolt was a 24 year war (166-142 B.C.) that resulted in the independence of Judah until the Romans took control in 63 B.C..
Jesus Recognized the Need for Revolt, Although That Was Not His Mission
Jesus came to die for the sins of the world— not start a revolt.  Even so, Peter tried to start a revolt, Jesus had to stop him.
Jesus asked him, “Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?”  When Jesus’ followers saw what was going to happen, they said. “Lord, SHOULD WE STRIKE WITH OUR SWORDS?”  And one of them struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his right ear.  But Jesus answered, “No more of this!”  And he touched the man’s ear and healed him.  Then Jesus said to the chief priests, the officers of the temple guard, and the elders, who had come for him, “AM I LEADING A REBELLION, that you should come with swords and clubs?”
Luke 22:48-52
No, Jesus was not leading a rebellion, but is revolt ever necessary?
Jesus Warns His Disciples That They Will Need a Sword
Interestingly enough, earlier that day Jesus warned His disciples that they would be persecuted.  That they would NEED a SWORD.
Then Jesus asked them, “When I sent you out without a purse, bag or sandals, did you lack anything?”  “Nothing,” they answered.  He said to them, “BUT NOW if you have a purse take it, and also a bag; and if you don’t have a sword, SELL YOUR CLOAK AND BUY ONE (a sword).
Luke 22:35-36
In other words Jesus is telling them to put together a “bug-out-bag”.  Things could get rough!  He wanted them to put some money together, pack a bag and take a SWORD— just in case they needed it.
Jesus knew that a time was coming when they would have to fight for the Kingdom.
How about you?  How does God want you to fight tyranny?  Will you:

 1.  Be non-compliant?
2.  Avoid persecution?
3.  Or will you fight back?
It may be your position in life that decides it for you.  Just remember, in any case, God is in control.  You just need to be mentally prepared for battle.
You Have to Be Clear Why You Should NOT Take the Mark of the Beast
What is the mark of the Beast?  
It is a mark, the False Prophet (second in command to the Antichrist) forces people to receive on their right hand or forehead.
He forced everyone, small and great, rich or poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name.
Revelation 13:16-17
Some think that this could be the RFID (Radio Frequency Identification Device) chip scheduled to be implemented March 23, 2012 through the Obamacare bill.

 In order to NOT receive this mark, you have to be clear within yourself, why God hates this mark.
Consider that everything you ARE is in that chip.  With it you can buy and sell— basically, you could still have a LIFE, albeit a compromised one.  The chip represents YOU.
It means you’ve chosen not to suffer!
You’ll have access to all your medicines.  You’ll still be able to watch TV and eat all of your favorite foods.  Tellingly, that’s the point.  There is no sacrifice.  It’s all about you.
Taking the mark is a betrayal to the Lord.
Consider what God says about those who make it all about themselves:
Anyone who loves their life will lose it, while anyone who hates their life in this world will keep it for eternal life.
John 12:25
And this one:
Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them.
1 John 2:15
When you receive the mark you turn your back on God.
As a result God must abandon you to your folly.
This is what the scripture says will happen to those who take the mark:
Ugly and painful sores broke out on the people who had the mark of the beast and worshiped his image.
Revelation 16:2 
He will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb.  There is no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and his image, or for anyone who receives the mark of his name.
Revelation 14:10-11
But this is what God says about those who give up their lives for Him in this hour.
This calls for patient endurance on the part of the saints who obey God’s commandments and remain faithful to Jesus.  Then I heard a voice from heaven say, “Write: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord FROM NOW ON.”  “Yes,” says the Spirit, “they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them.”
Revelation 14:12-13
Is it clear, dear readers, how important it is for you to know what you’ll do when the time comes?
Prepare yourselves mentally.
How To Prepare For the End Time Physically
The ideal situation is to be out of the city.  Of course, not everyone can do this.
Why is it best to be out of the city?  Because there will be mass chaos.  There are a number of things that could cause this chaos.

 1.  The sudden collapse of the American dollar.
Watch these two videos.  They were also included in my last post.  The first gives you a logical explanation as to why a collapse could occur.  The second provides you a simulation of how it could go down.

 2.  Terrorism.
I believe it’s highly possible that organized terrorist strikes could be unleashed on America.  If you’ve read The Obama Agenda: The Next Sequence of Events in Biblical Prophecy, you’ll know that I believe Obama is the head of an Islamic Caliphate.  Depending on how the election goes, he could give orders for terrorist strikes to be made.
In either case, there will be mass looting and martial law will be implemented.  You need prepare so you’ll have food and water available.
Go to the link below and study the information on this web site.  Not all of us have a lot of money, but for just $10 a week you can start a food storage plan.
For simplicity, food can be broken down into 3 main categories:

 1.  Proteins (such as meat, beans etc.)
2.  Carbohydrates (such as potatoes, rice etc.)
3.  Fruits and Vegetables
Also consider grouping them in different quantities for different situations.  You could have:

 1.  Bulk storage.
Rice, beans, wheat, popcorn, powdered milk etc, are all good candidates for bulk storage.
Bulk food allows you get more bang for your buck.  The downside is that they take up more space and require more time to prepare.




2.  MRE’s  (Meals Ready to Eat)
These are foods that you can eat with little or no preparation.  In a time of crisis, it’s important to have these available.  You can buy MRE’s online from various companies or make them up yourself.
To make them yourself, you’ll need a FoodSaver.  FoodSaver’s pull the oxygen out of a bag filled with food, preserving it for future use.


Here are a few examples of how you can couple foods using a FoodSaver (protein, carbohydrate, fruit or vegetable).







You can also use a dehydrator (Nesco is a well known brand).  You can dehydrate meats, fruits and vegetables.  A apple peeler is very handy for apple preparation.




Depending on much time and money you have, sometimes it’s easier to just buy the food already dehydrated.
Gold and Silver
Buying gold and silver can help you in the short term, but steps are already underway to return to a gold standard and gold and silver may be confiscated by our government.
Ultimately the best thing that you can have are COMMODITIES.  Things that you’ll need for survival.  A warm coat.  Comfortable pants.  Glasses.  Medicine.  Anything that will make life more bearable when you can’t get them anymore.
The Ten Virgins
Jesus tells the story of the Ten Vrigins.  Scholars have various interpretations of this passage, but I think at least one of them is that we need to be prepared.
“At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.  Five of them were foolish and five were wise.  The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them.  The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps.  The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep.  “At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’  “Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps.  The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’  “‘No,’ they replied, ‘there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’  “But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut.
Matthew 25:1-10
Are our lamps filled with oil both spiritually and physically?  Have we watched?  Have we prepared?  Did we bring extra oil with us before it was too late?
The whole point of the End Time Series that I have been writing, is to make you think about Where We Are in the End Time Timetable, then to get prepared both mentally and physically.
